COFFEE SHOP SERIES – the spiritual successor to the award-winning photo-book COFFEE SHOP: NORTH – documents the independent coffee scene one city at a time. Conceptualised and designed by the studio with photography by Justin Slee, each book is dedicated to a different city.

The book's partners include La Marzocco, the high-end espresso machine manufacturer founded in Florence, Italy; the UK-based paper company G . F Smith of which the book utilises Munken Kristall Rough and Heaven 42 from their paper collection; and Project Waterfall, a charity of which 1% of all profits of the book go towards, helping to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to coffee-growing communities. The book is printed by Jump North.

The first in the series – Vol 01: Leeds – features seven coffee shops from the northern English city with broad influence — from Scandinavia to Star Wars and, of course, Yorkshire — fuelled by a desire to document both the functional and visual variety of the coffee shop at the turn of the decade.
