We were invited to work on the project by YOUTH in order to create a visual identity, wayfinding system and lobby signage as part of their creative direction.
The development is the namesake of the former printing and bookbinding works established on the site in 1870. Once 750 employees strong, the factory was one of the largest of its kind and its design reflects the architectural history of the site.
Our typographic treatment is inspired by YOUTH's ink-stained interior concept that runs throughout the building. Geometric circles and strong vertical lines resemble rollers and the printing press, while still appearing elegant for the contemporary and luxury residential space.
